Salsa Verde Chicken Tacos

The very best flavors of the Southwest.
|1 tablespoon butter|
|1 Vidalia onion, chopped|
|2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic|
|4 cups cooked chicken, diced|
|1 packet chicken taco seasoning, 1 oz.|
|1/4 cup water|
|12 flour tortillas|
|Adobo seasoning, to taste|
|Salsa Verde, for garnish|
|2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese|
|Prepared guacamole, for garnish|
|Sour cream, for garnish|
- Preheat large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add butter, onions, and garlic. Saute for about 5 minutes, until onions are translucent.
- Stir in chicken and sprinkle with chicken taco seasoning. Add water and stir well to coat. Remove from heat and set aside. Cover to keep warm.
- Warm tortillas and sprinkle one side with Adobo seasoning, and fold in half while still warm.
- Fill tortillas with even amounts of chicken mixture, salsa verde, shredded cheese, guacamole and sour cream.
