Bianchini’s Markets is a local, family owned grocery store chain in the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula. Our stores are located in San Carlos and Portola Valley.
We are looking for a warm and friendly individual who likes to interact with customers to provide superior customer service while promoting our cheese and charcuterie department. Knowledge of various cheeses and meats, ability to cut and wrap, ordering and stocking of cheese and meats and related food items. Applicant must be able to learn and memorize product codes, work in an environment that can at times be very fast paced, be able to multitask and keep on smiling. The employment position is ideal for an applicant that is self motivated with an eye for food display details and loves interacting with people. This is a union position with competitive pay. Qualify for UFCW Local 5 lateral transition.
Pay rate $20-25.00 will be negotiated during employment interview and will be determined upon the applicant’s level of experience.
Position can be full-time or part-time and work shifts will include weekends and holidays.

The applicant absolutely should have previous produce handling and stocking experience and an in depth knowledge of produce, including product knowledge of both basic and exotic produce items. Must have an understanding of produce wet rack procedures, proper product processing, handling, rotation and storage, preferably in a retail supermarket setting. Must be able to work in an environment that can at times be very fast paced, be able to multitask and keep on smiling. The employment position is ideal for an applicant that is self motivated with an eye for perishable food display details. This is a union position with competitive pay. Qualify for UFCW Local 5 lateral transition.
Pay range $18.50-$25.48 depending on experience. Pay rate can be negotiated during employment interviews.
