Serves 8 | 
A chicken dish fit for royalty.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 3/4 cup milk
1 cup chicken broth
2 cup cubed cooked chicken
1/4 cup chopped pimiento olives
2 tablespoons dry sherry
4 slices toast, halved

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook till tender.
  2. Stir in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add milk and chicken broth. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
  3. Stir in chicken, pimiento, and dry sherry. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spoon chicken atop sliced toast.
