Walnut Brownies

Chocolatey walnut goodness.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a large baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Whisk together the butter and sugar until well blended. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Stir in cocoa.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Add flour mix to the butter mix, stir until well blended.
  4. Stir in half of the chopped walnuts.
  5. Spread batter on the baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining chopped walnuts over the batter.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.
