Chili Lime Sirloin Steak





Serves 1 |
Savory and zingy with a hint of sweetness.
Ingredients:
| 1 lb boneless sirloin steak |
| 2 tablespoons chili paste |
| 2 tablespoons lime juice |
| 2 teaspoons lime zest |
| 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
| 2 tablespoons olive oil |
| 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste |
| 1 tablespoon honey |
Directions:
- Place steak in a resealable bag. Add chili paste, lime juice, lime zest, salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic paste and honey. Coast steak evenly with the marinade. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. Remove steak from the bag and discard marinade. Place steak in the skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
- Remove from skillet and place on a plate. Tent aluminum foil over the steak and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
