Baked Steelhead with Honey Glaze

Ingredients:

2 lb Steelhead Trout
1/4 cup butter
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over low heat. Whisk in the remaining ingredients, except the fish. Heat until sugar is melted and all ingredients are combined.
  2. Place the fish in the center of a rectangle of foil. Pour the glaze over the fish and fold the packet around the fish.
  3. Let sit for 10 minutes to marinate.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes + 10 minutes for each inch of thickness. (20 minutes total for a 1” thick fillet.)
