Bring your appetite for this one!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix, 1.25 oz.
3/4 cup water
1 bag tortilla chips, 18 oz.
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can refried beans, warmed, 15.5 oz.
1 cup prepared salsa, your preference
1 cup sour cream
1 can pitted black olives, drained and chopped, 10 oz.
1 can sliced jalapeno peppers, drained, 4 oz.
4 green onions, diced

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to broil. Set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Add ground beef to a skillet and cook over medium heat until fully browned. Transfer ground beef to a strainer and rinse under water. Return ground beef to the skillet and pour taco seasoning over top. Add water and stir to coat evenly. Bring to medium heat and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Arrange the tortilla chips on the baking sheet. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over top. Spoon the refried beans and then the ground beef on top of the cheese and chips.
  4. Place in the oven to broil for 3-5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  5. Remove the nachos from the oven. Add the salsa, sour cream, black olives, jalapenos and green onions. Enjoy!
