January 31st is National Hot Chocolate Day!

Few things are better than a toasty warm mug of hot cocoa on a cool winter day. And this Tuesday, January 31st, is National Hot Chocolate Day! Celebrate this sweet occasion with a large mug of Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate, rated Best Hot Chocolate by Bon Appétit Magazine. Ghirardelli’s Hot Cocoa mixes are among the best, using Dutch chocolate and the finest ingredients, creating an unmatched flavor and aroma with zero artificial flavors or colors and no preservatives.

Ghiradelli Hot Chocolate

Every sip is perfectly sweet and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Ghiradelli Premium Hot Cocoa
  • 1 square Ghiradelli chocolate, your preference
  • 6 oz. milk

Directions

Pour milk into a small pan. Bring to low heat. Once the milk is hot, turn off the heat.

 

Open the Ghirardelli cocoa packet and empty into a mug.

 

Break Ghirardelli chocolate square into small pieces and add to the mug.

 

Slowly pour the hot milk into the mug and stir until powder is dissolved and the chocolate pieces have melted. Enjoy!
