Honey Garlic Glazed Carrots

A fantastic choice for special occasions.

Ingredients:

1 lb baby carrots
3 tablespoons honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
Sea salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Place carrots in a pot, cover with water and cook on medium-low heat until tender. Drain water, set carrots aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add honey, minced garlic, orange zest and orange juice. Stir until combined.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Place the carrots in the sauce and toss to coat. Cook carrots for about 5 minutes, until warmed through.
  4. Transfer glazed carrots to serving plates. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
