Honey Baked Pears with Almonds

Serves 4 | 
Sweet, healthy and easy to make.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup finely crushed almonds
2 bartlett pears
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Yogurt, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Cut pears in half. Scoop out seeds. (Slice tiny piece off bottom so the pear will lay flat and not roll) Arrange on baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle honey on pear slices. Sprinkle ground cinnamon and crush almonds over top.
  4. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Cooking Method: Bake
Course: Side, appetizer, snack
