Vegan Chocolate Donuts

A guilt free dessert that is too good to miss.

Ingredients:

+ Add All Ingredients to Shopping List
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 teaspoon salt+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon+ Add to Shopping List
3/4 cup soy milk+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 cup apple sauce+ Add to Shopping List
1 1/2 cup flour+ Add to Shopping List
1/2 cup agave nectar+ Add to Shopping List
1 teaspoon vanilla extract+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 cup coconut oil+ Add to Shopping List
2 teaspoons baking powder+ Add to Shopping List
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips+ Add to Shopping List

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together baking powder, cinnamon, flour, salt and agave nectar.
  3. Combine applesauce, soy milk, coconut oil, vinegar and vanilla extract in a sauce pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium-low heat.
  4. Mix together all ingredients, stir until soft dough forms.
  5. Pour dough into doughnut pan, bake for 12 minutes.
  6. While doughnuts are cooling, melt chocolate in another saucepan. Pour melted chocolate over cooled doughnuts.
