Gingerbread Oatmeal

The tastiest winter & holiday breakfast.

Ingredients:

2 cups water
1 1/3 cups dry old-fashioned rolled oats
1 teaspoon molasses
1/4 teaspoon allspice
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
5 teaspoons pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger

Directions:

  1. Pour the water into a medium pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and add the rolled oats. Cook for about 5 minutes, until thickened.
  2. Stir in the molasses, allspice, cinnamon, cardamom, maple syrup, and ginger.
  3. Spoon gingerbread oatmeal into serving bowls. Enjoy!
