Gingerbread Oatmeal





Serves 4 |
The tastiest winter & holiday breakfast.
Ingredients:
| 2 cups water |
| 1 1/3 cups dry old-fashioned rolled oats |
| 1 teaspoon molasses |
| 1/4 teaspoon allspice |
| 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1/4 teaspoon cardamom |
| 5 teaspoons pure maple syrup |
| 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger |
Directions:
- Pour the water into a medium pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and add the rolled oats. Cook for about 5 minutes, until thickened.
- Stir in the molasses, allspice, cinnamon, cardamom, maple syrup, and ginger.
- Spoon gingerbread oatmeal into serving bowls. Enjoy!
