Creamy and Spicy Avocado Hummus





Serves 6 |
A yummy alternative to the classic.
Ingredients:
1 avocado, peeled and cut into cubes |
1 can chickpeas, drained, 15 oz. |
1 clove garlic, peeled |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice |
3 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt |
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon fresh dill |
1/4 teaspoon cumin |
1 tablespoon water |
Directions:
- Place avocado, chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, and lime juice in a food processor. Pulse until smooth. Then add the Greek yogurt, jalapeno, onion powder, dill, cumin, and water to the food processor. Pulse until smooth.
- Transfer the avocado hummus to a serving bowl. Serve with fresh veggies, pita or crackers.
