Cajun Corn





Serves 18 |
Bold, zesty, spicy and smoky.
Ingredients:
6 ears corn, husked and cleaned |
Oil spray |
6 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper |
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
2 teaspoons garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon dried parsley |
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme |
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 425° F.
- Cut each ear of corn into three pieces.
- Arrange the corn on a baking sheet. Lightly spray with oil.
- Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, flip the corn after 10 minutes.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, about 10-15 seconds.
- Add the salt, paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and thyme to the melted butter. Stir together until well combined.
- Place a few pieces of corn in the Cajun butter. Coat well. Transfer the corn to a platter. Repeat with the remaining corn. Then brush any remaining Cajun butter over the corn. Enjoy!
