Apple Cider Doughnut Cake





Serves 12 |
Sweet Autumn flavors in every bite.
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix, 15.25 oz. |
3 eggs |
1 cup apple cider |
1/2 cup cinnamon apple sauce |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
For Cinnamon Sugar Topping: |
1/4 cup melted butter |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons cinnamon |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a Bundt pan with baking spray then sprinkle with flour.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, eggs, apple cider, and apple sauce. Once mixed, stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Pour mix into the Bundt pan.
- Place the Bundt pan in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove from the oven and place the cake on a wire rack to cool for 20 minutes.
- While the cake is cooling, combine the melted butter, sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Spoon or brush the cinnamon sugar topping onto the cake before serving and enjoy!
