Blueberry Maple Turkey Patties

Serves 8 | 
Perfectly seasoned, slightly sweet and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
4 sage leaves, chopped
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
3/4 teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup fresh blueberries
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Combine the ground turkey, maple syrup, garlic, allspice, cayenne pepper, ground ginger, thyme, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Add the blueberries to the turkey mixture and gently combine.
  3. Form the turkey mixture into 8 even sized patties.
  4. Add the coconut oil to a nonstick skillet and bring to medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer turkey patties to servings plates and enjoy!
