Peanut Butter Bars with Strawberries

Serves 10 | 
Perfectly sweet and creamy.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup strawberry jam
4 cups strawberries, quartered

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Beat together the butter and peanut butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture and beat until combined. Slowly beat in flour.
  4. Spread dough in the baking dish.
  5. Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before removing from baking dish.
  6. Spread strawberry jam and top of peanut butter bar and top with strawberries. Cut into bars.
