Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Serves 12 cookies | 
An all-time favorite that always satisfies.

Ingredients:

1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg white
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons water
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a baking sheets with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy. Once mix is fluffy, beat in egg white.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda, mix well. Add small amounts of flour mixture and water into butter mixture, alternating between flour and water, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop out a spoonful of batter and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cookies cool before serving.
