Absolutely savory and crispy perfection.
|3/4 cup cornmeal mix|
|2 tablespoons paprika|
|1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt|
|1 teaspoon ground black pepper|
|2 pounds catfish fillets, cubed|
|Oil, for frying|
- In a shallow dish, combine cornmeal, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Dip catfish nuggets in cornmeal mix. Coat evenly.
- Pour a small amount of oil in a skillet. Bring to medium heat.
- Cook catfish nuggets, in batches, adding oil as necessary, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden.
