In celebration of National Hot Sauce Day this Wednesday, we’re hosting a special tasting event for Palo Alto Firefighters Pepper Sauce. Founded by Palo Alto Firefighter Lee Taylor who began making an original pepper sauce from the peppers grown in the backyard of the fire station in 1994. His zesty pepper sauce became a hot commodity at the station. Originally, the sauce was sold only to Palo Alto firefighters, its popularity grew, and the pepper sauce was released to the public. Palo Alto Firefighters Pepper Sauce is crafted with simple, high-quality ingredients that deliver a complex, full-flavored taste with just the right amount of heat. If you need more incentive to try this fiery pepper sauce, since 2003, 100% of proceeds from sales go to the Palo Alto Firefighters Charitable Fund.
