The 2022 Winter Olympics begin this Friday, February 4th!

Over the next two weeks, 91 countries will be participating in skiing, snowboarding, bobsled, curling, figure skating, ice hockey and more. Make snack time even easier with Bianchini’s prepackaged nuts.

Find your favorites, like, almonds, cashews, macadamia, peanuts, pecans, pistachios and walnuts. We place our prepackaged nuts come in sturdy, resealable tubs that are a fantastic choice for grab-and-go snacking. Try our Warm Spiced Mixed Nuts recipe, it’s a great snack for those chilly winter days and nights.

Warm Spiced mixed nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bianchini’s pecan halves
  • 1 cup Bianchini’s almonds
  • 1 cup Bianchini’s unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 300ºF. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.

 

Pour pecans, almonds and peanuts into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle melted butter and Worcestershire sauce over top. Toss to coat.

 

Pour mixed nuts onto the baking pan and spread out evenly. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Halfway through baking, stir the nuts. Remove baking pan from the oven and transfer the nuts to a bowl.

 

Stir together the chili powder, garlic salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle a small amount over the nuts and toss to coat. Repeat until nuts are evenly coated. Serve warm or allow to cool and store in an airtight container.

 

Makes 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons Bianchini’s Fresh Ground Peanut Butter
  • 2 tablespoons jam or jelly, your preference
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Directions

Bring a non-stick skillet to medium heat.

 

Lay out both slices of sourdough bread. On one slice of bread, spread the peanut butter and spread jam or jelly on the other slice. Press both slices of bread together to make a sandwich. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the top and bottom ends of the sandwich. Place the sandwich into the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a plate, cut in half and enjoy!

 

Serves 1.

Tailgate at home and whip up all your favorite homemade dips, snacks, burgers, hot dogs, wings and more! And if you’re looking for a tasty new side to enjoy during the game, may we recommend our own Four Cheese Roasted Red Pepper Dip. It’s the perfect amount of cheesy goodness with every bite!

Four cheese roasted red pepper dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Romano cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 roasted red pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

 

In a baking dish, combine mozzarella, Romano, parmesan, cream cheese, ground black pepper, diced red peppers and smoked paprika. Mix together well.

 

Place the baking dish in the oven and back for 20-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbling.

 

Serve while hot with chips or crackers.

Did you know that this Tuesday, January 18th, is National Gourmet Coffee Day?

There’s nothing quite like a hot beverage on a frosty day, it just always seems to hit the spot. Whether you love your coffee dark, with cream and sugar, topped with hot foam, or a drizzle of syrup, there’s so many ways to enjoy a cup of coffee. Try our Gourmet Caramel Coffee recipe this week, it may become your new coffee go-to.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups hot gourmet coffee, 16 oz.
  • Whipped cream, for topping

Directions

Stir together milk, caramel sauce and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently for 4-5 minutes, until mixture is foamy and steaming. Remove from heat.

 

Pour coffee into two large coffee mugs. Pour an equal amount of the caramel mixture into each mug and stir to combine. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
