When Emily moved to the Bay Area in 2010, finding that same unmistakable taste and quality of a New York style bagel was near impossible. Driven to recreate that unmistakable New York taste, Emily spent five years of trial and error perfecting her recipe. Starting as a pop-up, Boichik quickly became a hit, opening its first brick-and-mortar location in 2019.
