Almond Crusted Halibut





Serves 4 |
Restaurant quality seafood at home.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole almonds, toasted |
2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped |
1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel |
1/2 ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 tablespoons water |
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1 cup parsley leaves |
4 halibut fillets, 5 oz. |
Directions:
- Heat oven to 400° F.
- Combine almonds, garlic, orange peel, cumin, salt, lemon juice, water, red pepper flakes and parsley in a blender. Pulse until mixture forms a rough paste.
- Place halibut in shallow baking pan. Spread the almond mixture over the tops of the halibut fillets.
- Place the halibut in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until fish is opaque throughout.
- Remove from oven, transfer to serving plates and enjoy!
