Balsamic Brined Grilled Pork Chops





Serves 8 |
A unique and delectable entree.
Ingredients:
3 cups water |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/2 cup kosher salt |
8 bone-in pork chops, 8 oz. each |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
Salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Combine water, brown sugar, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and kosher salt in a bowl. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved. Place pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag and pour brine into bag. Seal and chill overnight.
- Pour remaining vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined to make sauce.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Remove pork chops from bag and discard brine. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper over pork chops.
- Place pork chops on the grill, brush with sauce and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip pork chops over and brush with sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Transfer pork chops to serving plates. Spoon a small amount of sauce over top and enjoy!
