Balsamic Brined Grilled Pork Chops

Serves 8 | 
A unique and delectable entree.

Ingredients:

3 cups water
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup kosher salt
8 bone-in pork chops, 8 oz. each
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Combine water, brown sugar, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and kosher salt in a bowl. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved. Place pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag and pour brine into bag. Seal and chill overnight.
  2. Pour remaining vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined to make sauce.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  4. Remove pork chops from bag and discard brine. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper over pork chops.
  5. Place pork chops on the grill, brush with sauce and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip pork chops over and brush with sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer pork chops to serving plates. Spoon a small amount of sauce over top and enjoy!
