Turkey Teriyaki Burgers





Serves 4 |
Deliciously tangy and sweet.
Ingredients:
| 1 lb ground turkey |
| 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs |
| 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, more for basting |
| 1 egg |
| 1 clove garlic, minced |
| 1 tablespoon soy sauce |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
| 1/4 cup finely chopped onion |
| 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper |
| 4 burger buns, toasted |
Directions:
- Preheat grill to medium.
- Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, teriyaki sauce, egg, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, onion and pepper in a mixing bowl. Shape into four burger patties.
- Place burgers on hot grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side. Brush burgers with additional teriyaki sauce before flipping. Brush freshly cooked side with teriyaki sauce and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer teriyaki turkey burgers to toasted hamburger buns and enjoy!
