Easy Chocolate Cake

Serves 24 | 
Chocolate perfection.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 3/4 cups flour, more for flouring pans
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease two 9-inch round baking pans with cooking spray and sprinkle with flour.
  2. Combine sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. After mixed, add in milk, vanilla extract, vegetable oil and eggs. Mix ingredients together for 2 minutes. Pour in hot water and mix until batter is thin.
  3. Pour batter into greased baking pans.
  4. Place pans in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and place on rack to cool.
