Marinated T-Bone Steak with Sauteed Onions and Mushrooms





Serves 2 | 
The perfect steak for special occasions.
Ingredients:
| 2 tablespoons brown sugar | 
| 2 cloves garlic, minced | 
| 1 bottle dark beer | 
| 2 ribeye steaks | 
| Olive oil, for brushing steaks | 
| Salt, to taste | 
| Freshly ground black pepper, to taste | 
| 1 tablespoon butter | 
| 1 onion, sliced | 
| 1 cup mushrooms, quartered | 
Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic and beer. Place steaks in a resealable plastic bag and add marinade. Place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Remove steaks from the refrigerator and bag, set aside and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Remove steaks from plastic bag and dry steaks off with paper towels. Brush steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the steaks on the grill. Cook for 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Once cooked let steaks rest for 10 minutes.
- Bring a skillet to medium heat. Add butter, onions and mushrooms. Saute until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Top steaks with mushrooms and onions and enjoy!
