Cranberry Walnut Bread

Home-baked bread for the holidays.

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 cup fresh cranberries, halved
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and eggs. Pour into the flour mixture and stir gently.
  4. Fold in the walnuts and cranberries until evenly distributed in the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 60-70 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven. Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
