Sticky Sweet Steak Bites





Serves 6 |
Great as an appetizer or entrée.
Ingredients:
| 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into small pieces |
| 1/4 cup soy sauce |
| 2 tablespoons honey |
| 1 tablespoon sesame oil |
| 1 tablespoon grated ginger |
| 2 tablespoons minced garlic |
| 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
| 1/4 cup brown sugar |
| Sesame seeds, for garnish |
| Chopped green onions, for garnish |
Directions:
- Place the steak pieces in a bowl.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Pour the marinade over the steak pieces. Marinate for 20 minutes.
- Bring a skillet to medium-high heat. Drizzle in a splash of avocado oil. Add the marinated steak bites. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked to your preference.
- Transfer the steak bites to plates. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
