Grilled Salmon with Blackberry Sauce





Serves 4 |
A one-two combo of sweet and savory.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blackberries |
3 tablespoons honey |
1/4 cup rice vinegar |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 teaspoon dried lemongrass |
1 teaspoon fresh ginger |
1 1/2 lb skinless salmon fillets |
2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce |
Directions:
- Add the blackberries, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, lemongrass, and ginger to a blender. Pulse and blend until smooth. Set aside.
- Brush the salmon filets with chili garlic sauce.
- Bring the grill to medium heat. Brush the grill grates with a generous amount of oil or grill spray. Place the salmon on the grill, cook for about 5 minutes per side. Transfer the salmon to a platter to rest for 5 minutes.
- Place the salmon on serving plates. Spoon the blackberry sauce over the salmon. Enjoy!
