Honey Lemon Basil Grilled Chicken Thighs

The easiest healthy summer meal.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon Montreal seasoning
6 boneless chicken thighs
1/4 cup fresh basil, chiffonade

Directions:

  1. Whisk the honey, lemon juice, olive oil, lemon zest, and Montreal seasoning together in a bowl. Pour the remaining marinade into a resealable bag.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in the bag. Coat in the marinade. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Bring the grill to medium heat. Place the chicken thighs on the grill. Cook for 4-6 minutes and then flip and cook an additional 4-6 minutes.
  4. Transfer the chicken thighs to a platter. Tent with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish chicken thighs with basil. Enjoy!
