Surprisingly easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

4 packages refrigerated cheese tortellini, 9 oz. each
12 strips bacon
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz cream cheese
2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package directions.
  2. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Bring a skillet to medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate.
  4. Add the garlic, cream cheese, heavy cream and chicken broth to the same skillet. Return to the burner and bring to medium heat. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes, until smooth. Then stir in the grated parmesan cheese and bacon.
  5. Add the tortellini to the skillet and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the bacon tortellini alfredo on to serving plates and enjoy!
