BBQ Bacon Bourbon Chicken Kebabs

Saucy barbecue perfection.

Ingredients:

2 lb chicken breast, cubed
1/8 cup bourbon
8 oz barbecue sauce
6 slices uncooked bacon, chopped
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Stir together the BBQ sauce and bourbon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the bacon, brown sugar, paprika, smoked paprika, salt, white pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to a blender. Pulse until smooth.
  4. Coat the chicken with the bacon-brown sugar mix. Arrange the chicken on 8 skewers.
  5. Place the kebabs on the grill. Cook for about 6 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and place kebabs on serving plates. Enjoy!
