Cilantro Lime Jalapeno Grilled Chicken

Spicy and savory come together to create an amazing dish.

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons minced jalapeno
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin

Directions:

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a large, resealable container.
  2. Add the cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, jalapeno, garlic, sea salt and ground cumin in a food processor. Pulse until well combined with a thick consistency.
  3. Pour half of the sauce into a container, cover, and place it in the refrigerator.
  4. Pour the remaining sauce over the chicken breasts, cover and toss until fully coated. Place the container into the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour.
  5. Remove both the chicken container and the reserved sauce containers from the refrigerator.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  7. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 8 minutes per side.
  8. Transfer the chicken breasts to serving plates. Brush an equal amount of the sauce over the top of each chicken breasts and enjoy!
