Who’s ready to celebrate National Pi Day? March 14th is an extra special day for mathematics, it marks the annual celebration of the mathematical constant Pi, as in the first three digits 3.14, and it also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday. To celebrate Pi Day, we will have custom baked Pi Symbol Pies from local favorite Woodside Bakery in our stores! There will be a variety of flavors to choose from, so finding one of your favorites should be cinch. Did you know that Pi Day was founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, but was not officially recognized as a National Holiday until 2009 when the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation? We’re all certainly glad they did, so we have another reason to enjoy a pie from Woodside Bakery!
