Zesty Slow Cooked Potato and Chicken Stew

Serves 6 |
A simple recipe with the perfect spices to bring out the best flavors.
Ingredients:
5 cups chicken broth |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon oregano |
3 carrots, (diced) |
1 teaspoon smoked paprika |
4 Russet potatoes |
2 stalks celery |
1 lb chicken thighs |
1 can crushed tomatoes |
1/2 cup chicken marinade, (peeled and cubed) |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 yellow onion, (diced) |
Directions:
- Place chicken into the crock-pot. Cover with chicken broth, salt, oregano, carrots, smoked paprika, Russet potatoes, celery, crushed tomatoes, chicken marinade, ground black pepper and yellow onion.
- Turn to low heat, cook for 8 hours.
- Remove chicken from pot, shred with forks and place back into pot.
- Stir stew together and spoon in bowls.
